Errorlevel 0 when access denied

Oct 5, 2009 at 10:39 AM

I set access writes on backup folder to deny write.  Hoping to see an error that my sql backup failed.

Backup succesfull because errorlevel = 0...

Downloaded the source code and found    Public Sub WriteToFile with Try Catch block, without Evironment.ExitCode = 1 (or anything else then 0)

I've got missing refs in my solution, so can't build it. Maybe this can be fixed.

I guess i need some sdk or sql-server developer edition to have those SQL-dll's ?

Any help is appreciated. Thx.

Nice project. Thx again.

Hi again,

Assemblies can be found on the server C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\SDK\Assemblies.

And now that i can compile, i dropped the try-catch block of the Sub WriteToFile and get my Errorlevel on Sub main.

So this is solved for me.
